“NOWtime – Offline in St. Petri” is an experiment that transforms the cultural and university church St. Petri into an analog experience space for six days – right in the midst of digitally shaped everyday life. At its core is the conscious interruption of digital routines: visitors who take part in the experiment hand in their smartphones at the entrance. This allows them to fully focus on the place and its possibilities: music, reflection, encounters, and the NOW.
Through creative activities, music, games, and a science corner, a space emerges that can foster mental health and social connectedness. Various Lübeck-based partners collaborate in this project, and visitors themselves are also invited to contribute their own ideas over the course of the week.
