"Fallstrick" is the title of the second evening of the Petrivision series "Thread Games", to which St. Petri zu Lübeck invites on Saturday, April 1, at 11 pm.
Obstacles and stumbling blocks on the way to a better life will be addressed in speeches, music and scenes in the nightly performance. Dr. Bettina Greiner, director of the Willy Brandt House, will speak about pitfalls in democracy. Hans-Jürgen Ehlers, retired public prosecutor, talks about the difficulties of resocializing criminals. Pastor Dr. Bernd Schwarze discusses the biblical tension between creation and fall as the origin of evil. Music will be performed by the Johanneum's Upper School Choir, directed by Eva-Maria Salomon, as well as Grigorii Osipov, vibraphone and other instruments, and "Duoloncello" with cellists Noelia Balaguer Sanchis and Belén Sánchez Pérez. Actor Vincenz Türpe reads literary texts. The director is Sigrid Dettlof from Theater Combinale. To set the mood for the evening, the St. Petri Café will be open from 10 pm. Admission is free.
